Propeller Shafting

Buck Algonquin offers premium marine grade propeller shafting. Our standard grades are AQ19 and AQ22, which are both superior in corrosion resistance and strength as compared to standard 304 or 316 stainless steel. All shafts are precision machined to SAE specification J755. 3/4" thru 4" shafting is standardly available, with other sizes available upon request. Shafts are supplied with keystock, cotter pins, full and jam nuts.Our knowledgeable staff will help guide you through the appropriate procedures for ordering your shaft. Special machining is available
upon request.

Prop Knockers

This is a special tool designed to pop your prop.
Just remove your propoller nuts and thread this part on the end of your shaft.
Give the casting a fee taps and you propoller will works its way loose.

Its made of Ni Br AL and threaded to fit shafts with the SAE J755 specification.
Several shaft sizes are avalible.

Grounding Arms

Buck Algonquin's shaft grounding arms come complete with a graphite brush and adjustable copper arm.
They are avalible in three different sizes.

Shaft Collars

Buck Algonquin's propeller shaft collars are made of 316 stainless steel and come complete with two setscrews.
